Wales is an amazing country, so much beauty, so much history, so many people to meet and so many interesting things to see and do and all packed into such a small place. Wherever you are, you are never far away from a great walk.......... .......... but while we walk we observe, we think and we absorb information from our surroundings and the people around us. Life is complicated and there are so many things we need to understand to be at peace with ourselves. This involves asking questions of ourselves and others and the search for answers........... .......... my initial concept for Walk Around Wales was to provide an on-line resource for walkers in Wales and for people visiting Wales, I've been 10 years thinking about the processes and systems that would work as an on-line resource and I can see many ways of fulfilling walkers needs, however I'm troubled by what I see, Wales is a country with a bleak future.............. I haven't had to look for trouble, it finds me. With this in mind I've changed the direction of the Walk Around Wales website to one of learning, personal learning that is. I would consider myself reasonably successful and I have always found that self education is one of the key factors in achieving personal success. Whilst we are all different, I believe we are all also connected and we all have similarities in one form or another. With this in mind, I invite you to join me on my journey of learning and discover exactly who you are, but more importantly Discover who you can be. I hope you enjoy this website, have fun, stay safe and enjoy walking in Wales. This is a video I made recently when I stood for council in a local election, it will give you some idea about who I am and what I stand for. - https://youtu.be/ViBkhfYK5bU Thank you - diolch yn fawr Dai |

REPORT TO POLICE OF THE NPT COUNCIL LEADER, STEPHEN KARL HUNT COVERING UP NPTC PLANNING DEPARTMENT CORRUPTION THAT HAS POTENTIALLY CAUSED THE DEATH OF THE ACTRESS RUTH MADOC AND HER HUSBAND JOHN JACKSON. |

Councillor Hunt was stonewalled by the Planning Department for almost 3 months and a reply was eventually received from him on 31 January 2022. The reply from the Head of Planning and Public Protection, Ceri Morris used a method of deception to avoid Question 1 and ignored the remaining 4 questions by moving the time relevance from historic actions to current and future process information. CLICK HERE FOR THIS COMMUNICATION The final communication in this series contained a request for a HUMAN HEALTH RISK ASSESSMENT to be supplied by the planning department. To date (3 September 2022) nothing has been received from Stephen K Hunt, now the council leader. |

Kev Lewis, far right in this photo and I got together a small number of Neath Harrier legends for a chat and a trip down memory lane. This is a complaint recently submitted to the Glynneath Town Council about Councillor Haulwen Morgan who deliberately disposed of a document that identifies deaths in Brynhyfryd from an extremely rare neurodegenerative disorder that is linked to contaminant Arsenic. An above safe level of Arsenic was identified at the Heol y Glyn site in 2008 and subsequently hidden by the Neath-Port Talbot Council planning department. |

- GLYNNEATH CONTAMINATION
This video shows how the Planning Committee malpractice has enabled the Planning Department at Neath-Port Talbot Council to place Glynneath residents lives in danger, causing deaths from a rare neurodegenerative disorder and almost certainly commit the UK law offence Corporate Manslaughter. DIC PENDERYN 190 ANNIVERSARY MULTI-SPORT ADVENTURE
ABERAVON ROUND THE PIER SWIM 2021
The 190th anniversary of Dic Penderyn has been featured in my diary for a while now and I knew I had to do something to commemorate it so I woke up with a plan already formed in my mind to place Welsh poppies on the grave of this martyr. I've been drawn to life and death of Dic Penderyn for quite a while now, I can empathise with him in my own little small way, I am fighting 'system purpose corruption' and Dic died as a result of the failure of the British Government to support the working class from the ravages of the Industrial Revolution. My adventure incorporated the Aberavon Round the Pier Swim, an annual event which didn't take place last year and this year because of COVID19. The story of this adventure can be found on the following Youtube video. |

SWANSEA NEATH PORT TALBOT TRIATHLON
HISTORY MULTI-SPORT ADVENTURE - TRIATHLETES & TINMAN
I took a spin to the Mumbles for an interview with Howard Middleton-Jones, the founder of Triathletes Swansea and the organiser of the first race in the Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot area, the Valley Tinman Triathlon. This week saw the 35th anniversary of this swim bike run event which was held at Pontardawe swimming pool in the Swansea Valley. |

RHIGOS MOUNTAIN MULTI-SPORT ADVENTURE - CYCLE SWIM & RUN
CRAIG Y LLYN RIDGE
My bags were packed ready for a ride to the beach followed by a swim but the weather was not the best and rain was on the way. The beach is not the nicest place to be in the rain, the main consideration being changing for the swim & back into cycle gear again in the wind and rain which is a real problem, so I came up with the idea of a multi-sport-adventure on the Craig y Llyn ridge where I could change in amongst the trees and hide my bike while I went for a run. I also wanted to check out the new zip wire facility recently opened on the ridge. This is the story of my adventure until the camera battery run out. |

WALKING BEHIND SGWD YR EIRA, BRECON BEACONS, WALES IN FLOOD 48 hours of almost constant rain can only mean one thing, the waterfalls are in flood. A 90 minute walk from my front door takes me to what I consider to Wales' best waterfall, Sgwd yr Eira. This video shows this amazing waterfall in heavy flood including walking behind the falls. |

CUDDY GROUP TIPPING HABITS & NATURAL RESOURCES WALES
MISREPRESENTATION - GLYNNEATH CONTAMINATION - NEATH PORT
TALBOT COUNCIL COVER UP
In this video, we see how the Neath Port-Talbot Council Planning Development Manager Steve Ball has grossly misrepresented the role of Natural Resources Wales in the planning process for the Heol y Glyn development. This is evidence he is presenting as factual to the Planning Committee. We believe that the reason he does this is to cover up Planning Department malpractice which allowed the Cuddy Group to tip on the site unregulated and to provide the Planning Committee with a sense of lawfulness for the development and in particular the illegal tipping habits of the Cuddy Group. The Cuddy Group were tipping at the Heol y Glyn site from 2005 to 2016 while Natural Resources Wales was founded in 2013 and the Cuddy Group's first NRW licence dates from August 2014 by which time the majority of tipped material had been brought onto the site.
