Statement by Dai Richards, a former Green Party member
In this video we see Nathan Goldup-John telling me to 'f*** off during a Green Party members meeting, he then goes into a psychotic episode and mutes me so I am unable to speak.
JOURNEY..............
I originally joined the Green Party because I live next to a toxic waste dump which is misrepresented by Neath-Port Talbot Council.

Nathan Goldup-John was at the time a councillor at NPTC. When I joined the party in August 2023 no-one was interested in standing for the party at the 2024 General Election so I put myself forward to stand. Nathan then found Jan Dowden instead to stand for Neath and Swansea East at which point I offered to stand in Aberavon and Maesteg because no-one wanted to stand there. At that point I was frozen out of selection by the admin team at NPT Green Party. After this psychotic episode by the leader of NPT Green Party, I tried cancelling my membership and the party wanted to know if they could do anything to retain my membership, so I provided them with information allowing them to do their job. See email chain linked below.

I eventually left the Green Party and joined Reform UK the next week. Eventually I gained 10,170 votes standing for Reform UK in the 2024 General Election, over 8000 more than Jan Dowden of the Green Party.
After this incident I remained in the Green Party to engage in an email process during which Nathan said about this incident that he was telling his friend's dog to f*** off.

He also stated...........
"I know I have always acted in a professional manner during my tenure as a Councillor and local party officer." - Nathan Goldup-John (in an email 12/3/24)
RESPONSE FROM NATHAN FOLLOWING THE VIDEO BEING MADE PUBLIC (edited for relevant info)
Hi Dai...............To clarify, there has been a misunderstanding which I don’t think is reflected in the way you’ve edited the video. I took that meeting in my friends house and I was being distracted by the dog. I wish I had turned my camera out when I was dealing with him.
VIDEO INFORMATION (edited for space)
The following text is partial information from email submitted to Green Party enquiries Cheshia & NGJ . The video was initially uploaded privately but NGJ was unable to see it so we have made it public. Its purpose is to provide information to a group of select Green Party officials and members.
Image 1 at the beginning of the video shows recent deaths around the site that can potentially be linked to contamination. These include 6 deaths in the 4 houses closest to the site. These 6 and an additional 2 are all from our group. There are now 13 potential recent deaths through toxic waste poisoning that we know of (updated 1/1/24). We have followed protocol and all regulatory authorities including the police, National Resources Wales and Public Health Wales who all refuse to investigate clear evidence of environmental crimes and refer our communications back to the council. Additional historical potential deaths have not been included in this image and other deaths that may relate to the toxic waste dump have not been researched.
The deaths include June Wehko who tells of the transmission of dust from the site in this video.

We have other videos of dead people poisoned by the council.
Clip 1 shows inappropriate an unethical behaviour by NGJ during item 7 where I am speaking he clearly tells me to f*** off and then goes into what I would suggest is a psychotic episode.
At this point I would refer you to image 2 from the GP code of conduct and covers paragraphs 9.1 to 9.4 which cover 'Safe Space and Civility'
9.1 The Green Party should be an organisation in which people can feel comfortable, feel welcome and enjoy being a member and taking part in its activities. Members' behaviour towards each other and non-members should therefore be: tolerant, considerate, respectful and civil.
9.2 The Green Party should also be a space that is as safe or safer than society as a whole. Therefore discriminatory, oppressive or abusive behaviour should be prevented and stopped when it occurs. The aim is to provide an environment free of this. Any form of such behaviour is a breach of this Code, as is failure by a person in a role with responsibility, such as a Chair, Moderator or similar to take appropriate action to prevent or stop it. Members should also be aware of risks and act to mitigate them.
9.3 Members should in all their interactions with colleagues, assume the best of them.
9.4 Members should not: shout at someone; be aggressive in their manner; make belittling, derogatory or disparaging remarks about another member; insult a member or disrupt a meeting or discussion. see comments.
