2 January 2019 - sunset walk
I took a short walk on Jersey Marine beach for sunset, there was a thick low cloud in the near distance which ruined the sight of the sun dropping below the horizon but it was sufficiently clear for the clouds to pink up post sunset. The birds were on the move, all flying towards Port Talbot, hundreds all flying in the same direction without what seemed to be a purpose. Why ? |
11 January 2019
I came down with the lurgy after my last walk so I've been attempting to look after myself for the last week or so. Cabin fever drove me out today and when I needed to go to Neath I cut my drive short and did a 4-5 five walk from Aberdulais to Neath on the Tennant canal returning on the Neath canal. My camera was at the ready, I'm still looking that Kingfisher in flight photo but the best I could do today was geese, ducks and pigeons. None worthy of editing so here's a photo of the Tennant canal in Cadoxton. |
