CHRISTINA REES MP & KAREN JONES, NEATH PORT TALBOT COUNCIL COMMUNICATION - COUNCIL OF DEATH DOCUMENT

This video is an email exchange chain between the Neath M.P. Christina Rees and the Neath Port Talbot Council Chief Executive Karen Jones.

The subject matter of the initial email is the Council of Death document delivered to the 15 Neath Port Talbot Councillors on 7 September 2020. The document shows how the council planning department worked with the demolition and asbestos removal company Cuddy Group Ltd to avoid remediation of contaminated land through a series of planning approvals between 2008 and 2010. This broke the 1990 Environmental Protection Act.

Parking at Craig y Ddinas (Dinas Rock) I walked the 8 major waterfalls of the Brecon Beacons Waterfall Country area in one session. I like to do this at least once year when the falls are in flood. On this particular occasion I spent a while recording the Rhaeadrau Eira (Snow Cascades) about 100 metres below the Sgwd y Eira waterfall. The walk is approximately 9 miles and took around 5 hours to complete.

A photography and video session at Sgwd-yr-Eira to include DSLR running for length of video focussed on SyE and go-pro walk through the falls around to photo platform on the other side.

I smidgeon of sunset, I was too late for quite a good one.
