Tadpoling in Glynneath with my grandson Oliver, it was his first lesson in walking through a brambles and nettles area and using his sticks to control the vegetation. A lovely walk with success at the tadpole pond as well.

Early April 2025 was one of those glorious spells of good weather that make spring probably the most inspiring of the seasons. Due to other commitments I missed many opportunities for good walks but managed one outing on the beach just before the rain comes in for the rest of the year.

A river walk from Glynneath to Pontneddfechan and the photo does not do the size of this fungus justice. It was massive, about 2 foot across.

Another slow worm in the garden, looked like the same one that bit me last year factoring the growth.
