| Tadpoling in Glynneath with my grandson Oliver, it was his first lesson in walking through a brambles and nettles area and using his sticks to control the vegetation. A lovely walk with success at the tadpole pond as well. |

Early April 2025 was one of those glorious spells of good weather that make spring probably the most inspiring of the seasons. Due to other commitments I missed many opportunities for good walks but managed one outing on the beach just before the rain comes in for the rest of the year. |

| A river walk from Glynneath to Pontneddfechan and the photo does not do the size of this fungus justice. It was massive, about 2 foot across. |

Another slow worm in the garden, looked like the same one that bit me last year factoring the growth.
