DAI'S WALK-AROUND-WALES BLOG - SEPTEMBER 2017

1 September 2017

I didn't see the bird in my lens so I think I should have been paying more attention, it would have been lovely to catch him (or her) flying across the sun. The sun is dropping down behind Swansea city centre Fifteen minutes later the clouds above the beach were a bright pink colour, a gorgeous sunset and a lovely walk.

I took an hour out of my busy schedule to visit my Italian restaurant in Aberdare :)

My four year old grandson Gethin is fine tuning his cycling skills. With acres of space, hard sand with a little give in it, Aberavon Beach is the perfect place for learning to ride.

Who is a silly boy then ? Who remembered his camera bag but forgot to put the camera inside before he left home ? Thank goodness for the quality of pictures on the iphone and thank goodness there wasn't a glorious sunset too :)

Trying to make the most of the last of summer I headed to the beach for yet another sunset. The colours of the sculpture photo (right) have been enhanced by the art filter on my camera.

A 3 hour early morning ride on the mountain bike saw the sun rising over the village of Rhigos behind me. Taken from Pentreclwydau in the Vale of Neath
