I am an autodidact, this means I self educate. Famous autodidacts include Mark Twain, David Bowie, Thomas Edison and Leonardo da Vinci. For the last 50 years I've been self educating and achieving exceptional results in competitive life situations such as sport and governance. I've achieved excellence with other roles such as acting, business, publishing and social media management. I like to work in the main as a joint facilitator, helping people and teams achieve their goals and life's dreams. The principles used to gain success and achievements in sport can be adapted and used in other fields such as business, and politics, the competitive strategies remain the same, its just the nature of the environment that differs. Passing on knowledge has always been a passion of mine and I've understood that education is a key element on the path to success.

My spheres of knowledge include: sporting excellence, origin/s and evolution of sport/s, governance of sport, corruption in local government, personal development, learning and life skills, walking in Wales, children's play, bad science.

In the year 2001 I was offered the position of Triathlon Academy Manager at Neath Port Talbot College. This was to be the first year for a Triathlon Academy and the college needed someone to provide an initial structure, attract athletes, provide coaching and equipment, they weren't asking much. Basically I was chucked in the deep end and told, we want a triathlon academy, make it happen.

Over three years of extremely rewarding work, I developed the Triathlon Academy at Neath Port Talbot College, not made easy by the fact that the college has two main campuses and they are eight miles apart. I had one athlete signed up when I started at the college and you've guessed it, he was in the other campus. The success of the Academy would not have been possible without the commitment of the athletes I was working with. (Illustrated left, Triathlon Academy article in 220 Triathlon Magazine. In 2016 I completed my first book "Understanding the ORIGIN & EVOLUTION of Sport - Volume 1 - Rugby Union". It is about how Rugby started and I provide an analysis of how games and sports are invented or created. From detailed research I conclude that it is impossible for William Webb Ellis to have invented Rugby Union. I use scientific methods to prove this and in effect developed a science of history through the process of writing the book.

DRAFT REPORT RESEARCH PAPER

A research report on how residents from the houses surrounding the Heol y Glyn landfill site in Glynneath are dying of rare neurodegenerative disorders that is almost certainly linked to ground contamination that is being covered up by public officials.

This report has been submitted to Neath-Port Talbot County Borough Council, Glynneath Town Council & Natural Resources Wales. These organisations refuse to provide a counter analysis on this document, the conclusion of which is:

“Residents of Brynhyfryd are dying from the rare neurological disorder Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. These deaths are almost certainly due to specified and other probable unspecified contamination tipped at the Heol y Glyn landfill site. Public officers who have covered up this contamination are potentially responsible for the unlawful killing of these residents.”
