During the COVID-19 pandemic, in an email dated 19/3/2020 Nicola Lake refused to support the elderly and vulnerable people of Glynneath who do not have access to the internet to comment on the planning application P2020/0195. She suggested that they use social media to communicate. This is a morally corrupt action which fails to observe the purpose of NPTC and the Nolan Principle. 1.1 Selflessness - Holders of public office should act solely in terms of the public interest. |

Nicola Lake as the case officer for the P2020/0195 planning permission is believed to have placed these planning notice on private property. The notice she was informed was placed in in an unsealed A4 poly pocket allowing the elements to affect it almost immediately. This is an extremely amateur (even childlike) attempt at notifying the public of an impending large scale development on their doorstep that could have a massive impact on their health and property. The quality of the workmanship on this notice would suggest a lack of professional ethics. |
