Pictured left, in Gorseinon with my sisters at my niece Andrea's 50th birthday party. The sunset was OK but my iphone is too old to capture the colours or I lack the skills to deliver them, probably the latter. Hayley on the other hand is a dab hand at capturing nice sunsets, see below.

08.jpg (418615 bytes) Exercise Cambrian Patrol is an annual international military exercise, organised by the British Army. Dai Richards & Philip Grabarski completed the 1989 patrol as part of the 4th Battalion Royal Regiment of Wales. Phil was called in to do the event with 2-3 hours notice.

03.jpg (468534 bytes) RED ADMIRAL BUTTERFLY IN FLIGHT NEAR THE ABERPERGWM COLLIERY, GLYNNEATH

Butterflies are beautiful and fascinating creatures but identifying them in the field is not the easiest task in the world. I managed to get enough footage of this butterfly to be able to identify it as a Red Admiral near the Aberpergwm Colliery in Glynneath. I've slowed the footage down as much as possible. Unfortunately the frames per second on the footage don't give the range of motion particularly well because the butterfly was just too fast for my go-pro...................
